National Museum, Paro, Bhutan, 5/26/2026

We took a morning tour of Paro's National Museum, housed in an old hilltop watchtower resembling the shape of a conch shell. We were guided here by a local historian/writer who interpreted the museum's valuable collection of antique paintings, festival masks, religious statues and stone carvings./susan
