We had a very long tour today first visiting Mir. After driving around the small agricultural village we bought tickets to visit the nicely-restored Mir Castle built after the turn of the 16th century in the Belarusian Gothic style and representing the lives of the Radziwiłł family well into the 20the century. It was a Jewish ghetto during the Nazi occupation and later a hospital for the freeing Soviets. /susanClick a photo to view or click first photo to see a slide show.
