Once upon a time, there was a child ready to be born.

He said to God, "I heard that you are sending me to earth tomorrow.

How will I be able to live there being so small and helpless?"

God said, "among the many angels, I chose one just for you.

She will be waiting for you and will take care of you."

"But here in heaven all I do is sing and smile and that makes me happy.

And how will I understand what they are saying to me if I don't understand their language?"

"Your angel will tell you the most beautiful words you will ever hear,

and with much patience and care your angel will teach you how to speak."

"What will I do when I want to talk to you?"

"Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray."

"On earth there are many bad things. Who will protect me from them?"

"Your angel will defend you even if it means risking her own life.

I will always be beside you and your angel will teach you the way that will bring you back to me again."

At that moment there was much peace in heaven. Then the child started to hear voices from earth.

"Am I about to go? Please tell me the name of my angel before I leave."

"Your angel's name is of no importance, you will simply call her MOMMY."
